Students in ARCH 202 with Maggie Kerkmans participated in a 'plant pavilion' design exercise that took place in just two weeks.  The design uses formal design cues from the 'Biblioteca Fragment' study and incorporates research on plants that were specifically assigned, as well as sun data analysis.
This project made students think about how the plants of the Southwest interact with architecture, and how it can be depicted in drawings and renders.  Students also learned how to incorporate sun data in their projects.
